This marine sextant is mainly meant as decoration piece but can still be used - you can show with it how these sextants were used before the GPS was invented.

The instrument is covered with an artificial patina which protects it from corrosion and renders an antique touch. The scale which was meticulously inlayed in brass was covered with this patina too but can well be removed.

The sextant is contained in a strong hardwood box.
