When Napoleon invaded Russia in 1812 he had approx. 600 canons to fight the battle of Borodino, which he won.

Officers of the artillery carried this sabre which is known in France amongst collectors as the "Sabre d'officier d'Artillerie et du Train d'Artillerie".

Only few of these sabres have survived Napoleon's battles in Russia and original pieces fetch high prices in auctions.

Our reproduction is made after an original sabre and has following dimensions:

blade length: 95 cms. (37.5")
length overall (sabre in sheath): 116 cms. (46")
total weight : 2.1 kg (4.6 lbs.)
