Our reproduction of a Greek Argos Bell muscle cuirass comes with front and back plate in brass.
The simple style in the form of the anatomy of the torso and the material are signs of an early era; it was bit by bit replaced by the linnen armour in the 6th century BC. About 1000 years later at the end of the Roman era the brass torso armour was only worn by Roman officers.
The armour is handmade of brass and fit for re-enactment use. The two parts have both leather straps and strong hooks and eyes to put them together.
