We are selling a copy of a Roman shield for reenactors in original size.
This style of shield with its handmade painted design was copied from grave steles for legionnaires and trajan's column(see below) in Rome.
It is made from plywood with a linen surface and a rim of brass with a brass buckle.
It weighs abt. 3 kgs. (6.6 lbs).

Width: 51 cm (20 inch) measured along the surface
