I am selling a reenactor's Roman helmet of the 3rd century BC in original size.

This style of helmet with hinged cheek pieces and a large neck protection was found in the river Rhine and can now be viewed in the Mainz museum.
It is a Weisenau type helmet. They were made until abt. 100 AD.

Some experts call this model the most beautiful Roman helmet. Deepeeka has made an excellent reproduction of it.

The helmet fits a head with a circumference of up to 63 cms(24.4").

It is overall 41 cms (16") long and measures 20cms (8") from ear to ear.

It was handmade from 18 gauge steel with brass furniture and weighs abt. 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs.).
A cotton padding is included.
