D07 - French revolutionary sword, circa 1790 to 1800
I am selling reproductions of French sabres, as they were produced after the French revolution.
Their curved steel blade is 75cms./29.5" long.
Total length of sabre (blade in leather scabbard with 2 carrying rings) is 94 cms/37".Weight : 1.6 kgs/ 3.5 lbs.
Its grip has a leather lining with a bound with a twisted brass wire. It is not a high quality reproduction as our other museum quality reproductions, but it is ideal for display and a famous sabre for re-enactors and theatrical use.
