S42 - Sextant with wooden base, for demonstration
This small marine sextant is mainly meant for decoration by may also be used for demonstration purposes.
It has got a wooden base (probably teak), similar to the very early 18th century sextants. There are six shadow glasses like the original sextants had them, the scale ranges from 0° to 120° (which corresponds to 60° as the data will have to be divided by two).
