A19 - Medieval Barbute helmet 15th century
The Barbute helmet with its "T" slot face opening provided good visibility and gave full protection of the neck.
It is an authentic copy of this medieval helmet in original size.
It fits quite nicely and has to be padded because it is big (width 21 cms/8.1/4 inch, length 25 cms/ 10 inch, height 29 cms/ 11.1/2 inch).
It was handmade in India from 18 gauge steel and weighs almost 4 lbs.
