A25 - European Swept Hilt Rapier, late 16th century
I am selling a reproduction of the famous swept hilt rapiers, which were used for almost 300 years on all battle grounds in Europe.Its handforged high carbon steel blade is ridged on both sides and 75 cms (30") long.Quillon, handguard and pommel are made from brass.Its wooden grip is wrapped with copper wire.
Total length is 95 cms (38").
The leather scabbard with brass furniture is included.Total weight: 1.7 kgs. (3 3/4 lbs)
The blade as shown on our photo is covered with grease for protection during transport.
