A50 - Persian shamshir, Persia and Turkey , 15th century repro
I am selling a reproduction of this famous Persian curved sabre, which was carried by the Persians and Turks during their conquests of Europe. Our reproduction is in original size. It is for decoration and roll play, however, these swords are sharpened and are not allowed on stage, if not filed to be blunt.
Its grip is handmade from buffalo horn.
The curved blade is 85 cms./33" long. Total length of sword (blade in leather scabbard with brass furniture) is 100 cms/39". Weight : 1.5 kgs/ 3 lbs.
