V46 - Cup Hilt Rapier of the 3 Musketeers
Alexandre Dumas' novel and the film basing on it made the 3 musketeers world famous in their fights to protect their King Louis XIII (1610 - 1643).
Our fine handmade metal reproduction sword was developed for a film company and is now available for everybody for decoration and roll play, however, these swords have a pointed stainless steel blade and are not available for customers under the age of 18 years.The handle is simulated wood with 8 gilded fleur-de-lis (the French king's emblem).The handguard and the crossguard show the musketeers and again, the pommel shows their heads.
The cup guard is decorated with a royal ornamental design.
The sword is 115 cms (45 inches) long,the stainless steel blade length alone is 93 cms (36 inches) long,
and at the handle is20 cms (8 inches) wide.
There is no scabbard, this rapier is carried in an open sword belt as shown below, which can be acquired at an extra £ 29.00.
For wall decoration this sword comes with a wall plaque of simulated mahogany wood.Weight including wall plaque: 2.8 kgs. (6 lbs.)
