P01 - French army or firemans parade helmet
I am selling a copy of a brass helmet in original size.
The crest of this helmet is very similar to French parade helmets, but could also have been used by a fire brigade in the 19th century:axes and a torch are shown on the helmet plate.This helmet was handmade for decoration or theatrical use, because original helmets in this style are almost unobtainable even at very high prices.
The helmet weighs approx. 1.5 kgs (3 lbs.) including all parts, it is made of brass and has a leather lining.
It is 50 cms.(20 inches) high (including top hair)and fits everybody's head size when the chin strap is properly set.
