This is a reproduction of the famous Roman "pilum", which was carried by the Roman legionnaires during the conquest of Europe and Britain up to Hadrian's wall.It was their principal weapon, and also the auxiliary troops carried similar spears.We sell two types of these pila.This one has a tip of a pyramidal shape, which was intended to stay stuck in the enemy's shield and render it worthless.
Our steel replica is in original size, 2.24 m (88") long and weighs 3.1 kgs (approx. 7 lbs.).
