U72 - Scrimshaw hippo teeth wall plaque John Paul Jones 1779
This museum-quality reproduction looks realistically old and so are all the incised scenes.
It shows the U.S.S. "Bonhomme Richard" engaged in battle with the British frigate "Serapis" in the North Sea off the coast of North Yorkshire on 22nd September 1779.
