AH3995 - Scottish highlanders' shield
The Scottish Highlanders were brave soldiers and became famous in the constant warfare and border fights with the English.They used their "Targe" shields from the 16th century and as late as in the battle of Culloden in 1746.Our authentic reproduction is made from 1/2" thick plywood and is covered with brown leather.Brass studs show figures and stars and the centre is covered with a brass boss.
