AH3508 - Battle bardiche, axe for short pole, 16th century
We cannot ship a complete reproduction battle bardiche due to its length.
We just sell the fine steel reproduction head which was actually developed for theatrical use and is now available for everybody for decoration and roll play.
The actual shafts of bardiches were abt. 5 feet long, such a shaft has to be fixed to the head supplied. Shaft diameter to be abt. 32 mms. (1.1/4”).Please note that the cutting edges and points of the blade have to be filed down as only blunt weapons are allowed on stage.
Overall length of the head: 29 inch / 73 cms,
the width is abt 6 inch / 16 cms.,
The blade is made from 12 gauge (2.7 mms) steel.
