AH6038 - Spiked helmet Jaeger regiments 1 to 6, Prussia (repro)
I am selling an authentic copy of this German helmet in original size.This style of helmet was used by the Prussian mounted rifles "Jaeger zu Pferde" regiments No. 1 to 6.
These regiments were raised in 1895, the helmet is called the model 1905. We made this helmet for decoration or theatrical use, because original pieces are almost unobtainable even at very high prices.
The helmet weighs approx. 1.1 kg (2.4 lbs.) including all parts, it is made of blackened steel and brass and has a leather lining. It is approx.25 cms.(10 inches) high (including spike) and fits up to 60 cms. (7.3/8 inch UK or 7.1/2inch US) head size when liner and chin strap are properly set.
