AH6054K - Roman legion helmet (100 AD) Italic D (Krefeld)
I am selling a reenactor's Roman helmet in original size. This style of helmet was found in Germany near Krefeld. Like the original it is completely handmade from steel and brass fittings. A comfortable cotton padding is included. It is dated 69 up to the 2.century AD.
It was handmade from 18 gauge steel, trimmed in brass and weighs abt. 4 lbs.,head size: max 62 cm.
A Swiss expert on Roman arms has praised this helmet for its fine manufacturing and its interesting brass applications; a type of helmet which so far could not be found on the market.
