T25 - Knight figure in suit of armour, around 1550
This knight figure is made of a very detailed artistry cast. The knight carries a high grade pomp armour as tournament equipment (battle by feet). The figure shows the knight just before the swordplay.
It parallels old tin cast figures both in its weight and look - even the ornamental and gilded adornments on the armour and the sword have, although in reduced scale, been applied in a detailed and true to original way.
