P104B - Medieval chain mail sleeves for shirt, blackened
For all those who hate the heavy weight of steel chainmail shirts we have an interesting alternative:
We offer a pair of sleeves that can be fixed to a gambeson or jacket, and thus you will save 10 kg weight!
This "trick" can best be concealed with a surcoat; it will seem as if the warrior wears a complete chainmail shirt underneath.
The weight of the sleeves: 1.65 kg / 3.6 lbs each.
Length: 65 cm / 25.5"
Circumference around the wrist: 28 cm / 11"
These sleeves are manufactured in the same manner as our steel chainmail shirts; handmade as "four rings in one". Inner diameter 9.8mm / 0.38, outer diameter 12.6mm / 5", about 1.5mm / 0.06" thick.
