This presentation sword was designed for a film company and has now become available for everybody. We are not certain, if Columbus ever received such a sword, but may be Queen Isabel and the King of Spain, who were so grateful for his brave and successful explorations gave him one.

His 3 vessels used to start his voyage are engraved on both sides of the blade, his coat of arms is shown on the pommel and in the centre of the crossbar a gilded brass plaque shows Columbus in front of The King and Queen.

The grip is wrapped with red felt held by a twisted and gilded brass wire.

The sword is 116 cms (46 inches)long,
its stainless steel blade alone is 96 cms(38 inches) long,
and at the hand guard (quillon) it is 3.8 cms (1.5 inches) wide.
The edges are blunt - 2mms.(.08 inches).
Weight : 1.7 kgs. (3.8 lbs.)
