Cervellieres are the simplest and least expensive helmets for reenactment beginners.

These helmets were first introduced during the late 12th and were the primary head protection for Crusaders at that time. They were worn either alone or over chainmail.

In comparison to simple cervellieres our copy of a medieval helmet (2 mm / 0.07" steel) is reinforced by a middle ridge.

Height: 16 cm / 6.3"
Width (from ear to ear): 20 cm / 7.8"
Inner length: 23 cm / 9"

Weight: 1.2 kg / 2.6 lbs, made of 2mm thick steel.

With adjustable leather liner and chin strap.

The same helmet is also available in a smaller size (item No. Y35M) - fitting a head size up to 66 cm.
