I am selling a copy of a Viking helmet in original size. It is big enough to wear a chain mail coif underneath.
The Vikings are said to have carried such helmets during their fights to conquer Northern France and other parts of Europe, however a horned helmet was never found at any Viking burial site.
Are the horns a Hollywood invention ? Anyway, these horns cannot break off, they are made of steel, fastened by brass screws, and if you do not like them or find them to be dangerously pointed, just take them off.
Measurements :(width 20 cms/8 inch, length 23 cms/9 inch).
It was handmade in India from 18 gauge steel and weighs a little under 4 lbs.
