We cannot sell an authentic copy of Richard the Lionheart's sword, it does not exist anymore and we do not know exactly how it may have looked. Our fine stainless steel reproduction sword was developed for a film company and is now available for everybody for decoration and roll play.
Overall length is 41 inch / 104 cms.
blade length is 34 inch / 87 cms.
Its blade is made from 5 mm (.2 inch) stainless steel with 2 blunt edges of 2 mm (.08 inch).
weight : 2 kgs / 4.4 lbs.
Its iron handle has an artificial leather wrapping to ensure a better grip and a roaring lion head is shown on both sides of the pommel.
Richard's coat of arms, the three lions, is shown in the crossguard's centre.
This sword comes without a scabberd, so that you can see the decorative simulated engravings on both sides of the blade.
