Our new medieval battle shield replica is made from 1/2" wood and weighs 2.9 kg(6.5 lbs.).
Its total length is 63 cm (25"), its width is 48 cm (19"). The steel hump has a diameter of 13 cm (5"), including riveting rim it is 20 cm (8"). The shield is reinforced with 2 cross steel bands and its rim is protected by a sturdy hand forged steel ring.
The shield is held with one hand on a metal grip and has a leather arm strap (see our photo).
