I am selling a very collectable figure intricately cast with a metal finish on a resin body resembling an etched and gilt suit of armour of highest quality.
On the right-hand side of the breast plate you find the bar (queue) to support the jousting lance, whereas the left-hand side is reinforced as a better defence against lance hits.
Many jousting tournements were not over, when a knight was unseated,and the battle continued with swords fighting on foot.Our knight looks as if he is ready for such a sword battle.The figure looks like pewter and its weight is similar to pewter, it weighs 3.1 kg/approx. 7 lbs.
Theknight is about 63 cms./25" tall to the helmet tip.The base is 20 cms (8") x 22 cms (9").
