This is a good quality reproduction of a 19th century ship's figurehead of a beautiful (?) black haired mermaid.
She is carved out of hardwood and handpainted. I sold a similar figurehead last month. This one is smaller, it is for the buyers who were outbid.
Dimensions : height 45cms/18 inches, width (elbow to elbow) :10 cms/4 inches, weight : abt. 1.4 kgs/3 lbs.
